Enercare Smarter Home Carbon Monoxide Sensor

CO can leak from poorly maintained fuel-burning appliances, such as a gas fireplace, central heating systems, boilers and blocked chimneys. The deadly gas can easily seep into any room in your home. It’s important to ensure your family and home is protected with CO sensors installed on every level of your house, especially in sleeping areas where you want your loved ones alerted once dangerous levels of CO is detected.

With the Enercare Smarter Home Carbon Monoxide Sensor, you are instantly alerted when unhealthy levels of CO are detected, allowing you to remotely command your thermostat to turn off your furnace and ventilation system. If your furnace is the source of the CO, this will allow you to help minimize the further development and spread of CO.

The Life Saving Device Every Home Must Have

With a proven high-performance electrochemical sensor, the Enercare Smarter Home Carbon Monoxide Sensor is 100 percent calibrated and tested with CO to ensure its accuracy and will automatically check for carbon monoxide presence every 4 seconds. The sensor will notify you with audible and visual alarms once it’s low of battery, or when it reaches the end of its 10-year operational life and needs to be replaced. With a built-in test/hush button, you can perform a complete device test including sounding the alarm to verify functionality

Alerts are Smart. Solutions are Smarter

The Enercare Smarter Home Carbon Monoxide Sensor is certified by the Canadian Standards Association and alerts you of any dangerous CO leaks that are detected within range of the sensor, giving you time to take lifesaving action. If a leak is detected, the sensor sounds an audible alarm and a red LED flashes to warn you of high carbon monoxide levels.

The danger of CO can appear at any time – even when you are not home. The system will send important information to your smartphone, so if you are away from home or out of audible range you can get instant access to information and act. You can then command your thermostat to turn off the furnace if CO is detected, helping minimize the further development and spread of CO in your home.

The Enercare Smarter Home Carbon Monoxide Sensor also has a memory feature, which will record the most recent CO alarm and the level of gas detected and provide visual indication where the CO event has occurred. The sensory will automatically cease to alarm once the CO clears.

In Case of an Emergency

If your Enercare Smarter Home Carbon Monoxide Sensor alarm sounds or if you are experiencing symptoms of CO poisoning, get outside immediately and call 9-1-1. To learn more about the dangers of carbon monoxide, visit the Enercare blog.
